MY NEW FAVORITE BOUTIQUE! Perfect for finding a gift for the guy/gal who isn’t the boring run of the mill. Imagine Wacko but smaller and sans a gallery attached. There was great books on pop art, low-brow and high brow and surrealism for those who like art. Featuring artist like Mark Ryden, Lola, Liz ?McGrath, Todd Schorr, Alex Gross, Ron English etc etc.. The greating card selection was great and a much better choice to go with than the lame “hallmark” cards.Anyhoo, everything in here is awesome. Housewares are rad and the jewelry as well.
Oh Spitfire Girl, you are my newest “go-to” boutique for gifts. ?I was a little bummed though, the last time I went in. ?I heard that you guys opened up a second location and now this store seems a little sparse. ?But still! ?Everything is so excellent!They always have really cool jewelry, vintage/antique items pearl earrings, funny knickknacks, neat artwork, great books… the list goes on. ?I first came in here around Christmastime last year looking for some small, last-minute gifts and stocking stuffers for my mom. ?SUCCESS! ?I found everything I needed here. ?I have returned at least 6 or 7 times since then and rarely walk out empty-handed. ?I also purchased a beautiful necklace online while I was still living in Boston that I’d had my eye on for awhile; a friend of mine in Boston actually knows the jeweler/artist and it was so cool to see her stuff in a boutique on the West Coast. ?I purchased one of the graphite art objects/writing utensils here for my mom’s birthday this summer and again, success! ?She loved it.The sales people are really nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. ?It’s also really cool that they have turned the back space into a gallery! ?I will definitely try to check out the other location sometime soon and I’m sure I’ll be back in the near future, hunting for more great gifts.

A new gift/boutique/all around awesome store with an incredible selection of unique, cool and fun gifts and items to generally improve the coolness and quality of your life.Started by renowned Tattoo artist Jason Schroeder and his equally talented wife/partner-in-crime Kristin, Spitfire Girl has many original pieces and toys designed and manufactured by the owners as well as cool, odd and practical household items. I highly recommend the ceramic travel mug, looks just like your typical Scarbucks mug but it keeps things warm or cold without ever burning or freezing your little monkey fingers. Need an awesome gift for the coolest person you know? Spitfire Girl is the place. Most of these boutiquey places have a couple cool things and a whole lot of stupid crap. Not Spitfire Girl. Each item is carefully chosen for its intrinsic merits and virtue. You can tell a great deal of thought went into each and every piece adoring their shelves.The space is bright and airy and on an up-and-coming block on Sunset in the Silverlake/Sunset Junction area.Do yourself a favor. Check out Spitfire Girl next time you need to buy your super cool awesome friend a gift. I guarantee you’ll leave with something for yourself as well. In closing, this place ROCKS!!!
My favorite neighborhood shop- and totally worth a field trip if you’re not local. In a perfect world, I would own everything the store carries. Who wouldn’t want to scoop sugar from a bird shaped bowl, or drink tea from a darling owl mug? I’ve found lovely, charming gifts for girlfriends, children, family, my fella and most often- myself!
New shop in Echo Park with some really great gifts! I love the selection books, mugs, toys, cards, vases, journals, jewelry, art, and more. Everyone that works there is really nice and will definitely help you find what you are looking for.I agree with Paul about the ceramic travel mug I’ve given a few as gifts and I want to get another for myself. Kristin and Jason are super talented and they opened up this great shop together so check it out you will want to go back.

Spitfire Girl is soooo cute! I wanted to buy a million things but no time with impatient husband in tow. I definitely recommend this store to someone with taste, humor, and a sense of whimsy & fun! Spitfire Girl herself also recommended some food places to eat nearby since I was visiting from out of town and she was spot on! Thanks so much! Definitely visit this store!
Love Love Love this place!!!! Fav shop in LA !!!! Like echopark location alot better than hillhurst. All the people that work at both stores are super friendly but the brown haired girl who works at echopark one is so dame hilarious!!!!

I love Spitfire Girl! Original and fairly priced one-of-a-kind items. Added to the mix are the coolest owners in town—Kristin and Jason. My fave? —woodcut invitations and greeting cards featuring Kristin’s artwork. The grooviest cowgirl/boy outpost in town. Yee-haw!!

awesome brand new gift store on sunset near alvarado. ?spitfire girl used to sell only wholesale. ?you would see her trademark wooden post cards with super cute drawings and witty sayings around, but now there’s a whole store dedicated to all of her product. ?she’s a small LA based company. ?she also carries an amazing assortment of things, all special and hand picked feeling, but with good and varied price points. ?from one dollar toys, to amazing jewelry, books Shamballa Bracelets, cards, lafco soaps, tin toys, art, bags, curiosity, and cool. ?lots of local and small company products, which is cool. ?friendly service and a pretty, pretty store. ?something for everyone here, and a perfect place for gift and holiday buying.
